From a neighborhood butcher

TO A NATIONAL STAPLE

The Beginning
Casa began in the 1920s, in a small butcher shop in Landisville, New Jersey. There, Mario Bertacchi built a reputation for quality cuts and honest service — values that would shape generations to come.
The Family Legacy
His sons, Paul and George, carried on the family craft in their own way: one serving restaurants, the other grocery stores. In 1966, the brothers merged their businesses and founded Casa Di Bertacchi — combining their expertise, passion, and family recipes under one name. By the late '80s, Casa was a trusted name in Italian food across the region.
In 1982, Casa joined the Rich Products family, opening the door to national growth while staying true to its roots. Today, we operate out of Vineland, New Jersey, where every batch still starts the same way: with care, craft, and a love of sharing good food.
At Casa, we believe home isn't just a place — it's a feeling. It's the second helpings. The late dinners. The comfort you reach for without thinking. That's what we bring to the table.
